'Are droids taking our jobs?' and 'Life in the Digital Now' ?

Indeed, technology is evolving every day, but that does not mean it is a bad thing.
Why not see the glass half full?
Why not see evolution as an aid?
Shouldn`t let the "robots" to do the hard part for us?
Wouldn`t you love to have more free time? For your family, friends and why not hobbies?
We can take any example, like previous generations who had to go to the library for documentation and now for us it is one "click" away. I think as long as it is not used for evil purposes, the technology is what we need.Except for wars, where indeed was used for the wrong purpose, but we said we would look on the bright side. And we can not speak of a tech as long as we still have jobs and that Romanian proverb: "Clothes don`t make the man" and so it is with technology: we decide how or what to create just that making our work easier I do not think time to say that life is digital. NOT YET!

  1. Hi there! You have some good points in your argumentation. There are many benefits to use technology as you argue with, "do the hard parts" which is good to have robots to do for us. On the other side, to have more free time perhaps is adjacent due to fewer jobs?
Technology is a part of the war industry which is the downside with new technology as you writes.

  2. Well written! Your thoughts about the development of technology also benefits the war made me think even more. There are still more positive than negative, and I agree - it is we who decide how far we want to go with the evolution of technology!

  3. This is my response:

    I agree with your post!

We should see the opportunities in every difficulty rather than the difficulty in every opportunity.

Technology saves a lot of time for us.

We should not ask ourselves how to stop technology.

But we must of course ask ourselves how to prevent technology to be used for the wrong purposes.

We must also make sure that the technology becomes more environmentally friendly.

The bottom line is that technology is not good or bad. Its just a tool.

I doubt that anyone would stop using their computers or washing machines because the droids took their jobs.

  4. Hi,

I agree with you totally. Sure we might miss out on the things surrounding us, but we can make the decision to put away our technollogy whenever we want and enjoy. Also, we can communicate with family and friends all over the world. Fly anywhere to Europe on a business meeting or why not do it over the phone. I believe there's much more positive then negative about this.

  5. hei!!
i like to see that you are so optimistic about what technology is giving us and i only have to agree with you. By the way, you pointed very well the fact that the technology can be used in wars and this is definitely not good at all. And about the last part "we decide how or what to create just that making our work easier I do not think time to say that life is digital." i hope it will be this way..but isn't really up to us, "ordinary people", who are using technology just to make our lives easier. But let's be optimistic till the end!

  6. I like the fact that you pointed out a couple of ideas from the video.

I am trying to see the glass full, and yes, I see a lot of opportunities because of technology. Indeed, robots can be part of your life, but we have to draw a line whe the "droids" should stop interfering in our lfe. I don't want to think they will be the ones which will live our lives.

In conclusion, I do believe that the cowl does not make the monk and I do believe that the full-digital era hasn't come. And to be honest I am not looking forward to seeing that thing happening really soon.
